HI! My name is Corine Frank and I LOVE making soap!
I started making soap because my children were so sensitive. I only use my own soaps for my family and will never go back to grocery store cleaning agents. Most of what is available in the grocery store is not actually soap (quick, go look at the label, it usually says "cleansing bar" or "body wash") but is either a cleansing and/or detergent agent. Handmade soap is usually much more gentle on the skin than soap that is mass produced.
The method I primarily use is called “Cold Process”. This process takes about 4-6 weeks for the soap to cure. It is a long wait, but the soaps are creamy and of a very high quality. If I am out of stock on any soaps it is usually AT LEAST a 4-week wait unless otherwise stated. It could take longer, depending on the bar.
